Rachel: I've been cooking since the age of two (with the aid of a step stool, a patient mother, and a sponge). Other kids liked to play with Barbies, I liked to play with eggs. This site is entirely because of foodie/scientist Darya Pino and SummerTomato, which changed my view of food and let me eat more delicious food than I ever have, while losing weight and feeling great. Before that, those were all mutually exclusive. Go there. Now. I'm not paid to say this.

A kitchen witch, sometimes called a cottage witch or a "Scandinavian" kitchen witch doll, is a poppet or homemade doll resembling a stereotypical witch or crone displayed in residential kitchens as a means to provide good luck and ward off bad spirits.
